Window Cleaning Belts

Every window cleaner needs a scrapper. When it comes to the Scrappermate, I like this product for window cleaning because of its easy to use and yet secures your scrapper after you make some adjustments to its prongs. At first my window cleaning scrapper would keep popping out of it, but all you have to do is bend the prongs inward more to make for a tighter fit. Before this product I used to use a holster style product that would only secure the window cleaning scrapper if you buttoned it in. This is too time consuming and so I would never button it, which led to the scrapper falling out several times a day. Not only is having your scrapper falling out a pain to chase after, but it is a huge liability and bad for your San Diego window cleaning scrapper when it falls two or three stories.

As far as window cleaning belts go, there is your deluxe model and then your cheap addition. I recommend getting the padded deluxe model as the belt will begin to cut into your side otherwise. All the weight hanging off the Oceanside window cleaning belt from the wet washing wand, the bottle of solution and the rags, will take its told on your waist.

The padded Carlsbad window cleaning belt adds some extra comfort to the load and distributes the weight better. The padding prevent the belt from cutting into your side. No matter which window cleaning belt you get, some adjustments will have to be made. I actually alter my window cleaning belts to better fit my needs. I sew some of the buckle so that it wont shift on the belt. I also cut off the extra window cleaning belt that is hanging after it is tightened. I even sew my pouches to better slide over the Escondido window cleaning belt.
